Input voltage: -48VDC

Minimum voltage: -40 VDC

Maximum voltage: -60 VDC

Maximum operating current: 0.5A

The DC power source must be:

• Electrically isolated from any AC source

• Reliably connected to earth ground

• Capable of providing up to 100 Watts of continuous power

D.2: Over-Current Protection

Over-current protection requirements:

• 10 Amp fast trip

• Double pole

• DC rated

Over-current protection devices (e.g., circuit breakers) must be provided as part of each

equipment rack and are not included with the Console Server. The device must be

located between the DC power source and the Console Server.

D.3: DC Supply Connector

The supply input connectors are provided with each Console Server; the conductors

are not.

Conductor specifications:

• Material: copper only

• Wire gauge: 16 AWG

• Insulation rating: 75 °C
